The LISFLOOD static and parameter maps for GloFAS contain all gridded input maps (except for the meteorological forcings) that are required to run the spatially distributed hydrolo...
Description
The Global Flood Awareness System (GloFAS), jointly developed by the European Commission and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), is part of the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (Copernicus EMS). GloFAS provides added value, complementary flood forecast information which is updated daily. Forecast information includes gridded hydro-meteorological data such as accumulated forecasted precipitation, probabilistic predicted discharge, threshold exceedances and forecasted hydrographs at gauging locations. GloFAS data is publicly available (registration required).
The data are open access (registration required) and and can be viewed on www.globalfloods.eu. Future developments include OGC compliant web services and a data store to access and download the data.
