GloFAS: lakes and reservoirs

This shapefile shows all lakes and reservoirs that have a:

- lake surface area > 100 km²;

- significant impact on the river discharge;

- reservoir capacity > 0.5 km²

This layer is provided in the GloFAS interface as additional information for the user as it helps to understand which lakes and reservoirs are considered by the model set-up. However, it is also of interest to other water resources related questions.
