This open dataset includes the list of cases for the purpose of the Public Sector Tech Watch, concerning the use of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and other emerging technologies within the public sector. Complete metadata and taxonomy information about the cases are available in the separate files below. Please consider that this dataset is currently a work in progress and is set to be regularly enriched with additional use cases.   • Public Sector Tech Watch is an observatory dedicated to monitoring, analysing and disseminating the use of emerging technologies (e.g., Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) within the public sector in Europe. It is managed by the Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission.

PDF – Portable Document Format – is a file format developed to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of application software, hardware and operating systems. Based on the PostScript language, each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a fixed-layout flat document, including the text, fonts, vector graphics, raster images and other information needed to display it. PDF was standardized as an open format and does not require any royalties for its implementation.
