On the 23 March 2023 at 12:40 UTC, a forest fire started in the provinces of Castellon and Teruel, Spain. The event is on on-going and has already burned a considerable area. The flames are close to urban areas and several villages have been evacuated. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide initial rough estimation, fire extent and damage assessment emergency mapping.
