Since13 of August 2022, important fires currently active affect the Valencian Community, the two most important ones are:
- The Vall d'Ebo forest fire in the province of Alicante which started on 13 August at 21:30th, which has affected some 11,700 hectares and has caused the evacuation of some 1,600 people from 15 localities and cuts in 6 roads.
- The Bejís forest fire in the province of Castellón which started on 15 August at 16th, has burnt some 4,500 hectares, some 2,100 people have been evacuated from 9 towns and 2 campsites, as well as several injured people and road and railway service cuts.
Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide Delineation and Grading products.
