Activation reason:

On 14/07/2022 and 15/07/2022, major wildfires started on Lugo and Ourense provinces (Galicia – NW Spain). These fires are affecting mainly Folgoso do Courel, O Barco de Valdeorras, Carballeda de Valdeorras municipality near Ancares – Courel Natura2000 area. Due to adverse weather conditions, the fires could last several days and affect populated areas.
