Activation reason:

Due to heavy rains, flooding is forecast to hit the Valencia Community area on 22 03 2022 and thereafter. Persistent rainfall has been recorded over the last week. Currently, these rains have intensified with records exceeding 200 mm in some areas. There is a potential risk of flooding in the mouth areas of river basins. Copernicus Emergency Management Service is requested to provide flood delineation and at least daily monitoring products.
