This CEMS Risk and Recovery Mapping (RRM) activation has been requested to provide damage delineation and grading product over the Parnitha Mountain, in the region of Attica (Greece), which was hit by a forest fire on 22nd August 2023, started around 11:56 (local time).According to the news, a wildfire started in a forest area near the monastery of Kleiston on Parnitha Mountain in Attica Region. The fire has led to the destruction of houses and vehicles in suburb of Fyli.The goal of the activation is to provide the wildfire wildfire damage delineation and grading product.
