The information collected in the JRC Catalogue describes transitional initiatives that are considered to contribute directly or indirectly to the overarching aim of the roadmap towards phasing out animal testing in chemical safety assessment. The information is based on an ongoing survey run through the EU survey portal which is kept open for notifying new initiatives and updating the ones already included in the Catalogue. This is the most recent version of the Catalogue which is updated periodically.
