A new wave of heavy rain, strong wind and storm surge is forecast in Vietnam due to the Tropical Cyclone MOLAVE. The cyclone will make landfall over central Vietnam early on 28 October. Extreme flood warnings have been issued across several areas of Eastern Vietnam. The activation aims to detect the spatial extent of the flooding as currently no established in situ methods are available for this purpose.
