Since mid-July 2021, Albania has been affected by wildfires, throughout several parts of its territory. Hundreds of hectares of forests, pastures and thousands of olive trees have been destroyed especially in the Vlora and Fier regions. The Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping Service has been requested to provide delineation mapping and monitoring.
