Tropical Cyclone (TC) ELOISE is moving south-west over the Mozambique Channel, towards the central coast of Mozambique. Between 22 and 23 January 2021 heavy rainfalls, strong winds, and a storm surge could affect the areas from southern Nampula to Sofala Provinces of Mozambique as well as the Chiredzi area in southern Zimbabwe and areas over Mbabane, Manzini and Siteki in Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland). It is predicted that TC ELOISE will generate a high risk of flash and river flooding. Copernicus EMS RM is requested to provide Delineation and Delineation Monitoring Products over Mozambique and Zimbabwe, as well as Grading Products over Eswatini.
