Activation reason:
A fire started in the early afternoon of July 11 is affecting the Natural Park of Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia, an area of great
ecological value. About 4000 ha have already been burned. Several villages have been affected and about 600 people have been evacuated. State
resources are working to extinguish the fire and the State Plan for Civil Protection against the risk of forest fires is activate.
The weather conditions and the steepness of the terrain are making extinction difficult.
