Activation reason:
On June 16, 2022, the situation in the Aragón region was one of simultaneous forest fires, affecting areas of high ecological value (Red Natura 2000). On June 17, the Nonaspe, Zaragoza fire has already destroyed some 1,000 ha with the potential to burn with high intensity. Currently, the forest fire is active and the weather conditions for the next few hours are extremely unfavourable, which, together with the accumulated drought and the orography of the land, make it unlikely that it will be extinguished in the next two days. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide First Estimate Product, Delineation with monitoring and Grading products.
