On 17/08/2021, a major fire started on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands). This fire is affecting mainly the El Paso municipality on the west of the island and the rural zone near a biodiverse National Park. Due to adverse weather conditions, the fire could last several days and affect populated areas. Copernicus EMS is requested to provide Delineation and Grading products.
