On the 17 May 2023, a heavy rainfall is reported to have affected Eastern Slovenia, triggering more than 1,100 landslides. Civil protection, firefighters and soldiers are continuing to tackle the consequences of floods and landslides in the east of Slovenia. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide damage assessment emergency mapping.
