Due to heavy rainfall during the last 48 hours thousands of acres of agricultural land are estimated to be under water in the broader area of Chrisoupoli in North-Eastern Greece. River Nestos as well as other rivers were flooded, landslides occurred and parts of national roads in the area were covered with water.The General Secretary for Civil Protection has declared the area in State of Emergency.
