Activation reason:
In the early morning of 6 August 2019, a wildfire struck most of the territory of Dualchi (Nuoro) municipality in the central part of the island of Sardinia, Italy. The fire lasted for two days and affected about 430Ha of Mediterranean scrub and agricultural land. According to the regional authority, six helicopters and two Canadairs were deployed to control the fire.
