Activation reason:
During August 2017, numerous Forest Fires affected Spain, especially in the central areas. The government of the Castilla y León region triggered the Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping Service for the production of delineation and grading maps over the affected areas in order to assess the damages in the areas of interest that are of great ecological value.
