This data collection stores the annual indicator updates of the EU Tourism Dashboard. The EU Tourism Dashboard is a European Commission knowledge platform (https://tourism-dashboard.ec.europa.eu) to follow on the green and digital transitions and socio-economic resilience of European tourism ecosystem, and to support decision makers and operators in the field to steer evidence-based policies and strategies. Concretely, the core of the Dashboard is a framework of indicators organized under three policy pillars: green, digital and socioeconomic. Furthermore, the dashboard provides a set of basic descriptors on the characteristics of tourist destinations in terms of demand, supply and tourism offer. It covers all the EU countries, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland, at country and, when possible, regional levels. The indicators and descriptors are updated annually, and are fully available in this data collection.
