The Digital Building Stock Model (DBSM) is supported by European Commission, Joint Research Centre. The DBSM aims at using Earth Observation, other heterogeneous data sources and Machine Learning models to create an open digital EU map of the building stock with an increasing number of energy-related features at building level. The goal with this detailed maps is to support decision makers take more informative decisions beyond the use of coarse statistics, especially in support of the building renovation wave and the member states recovery and resilience plans.
