This collection contains data related to the RHOMOLO model, including the Inter-Regional Input-Output (IRIO) tables for 2013 and a dataset of regional transport costs and distances. IRIO 2013 is a complete dataset of inter-regional Input Output Tables and trade flows for EU-28 at NUTS-2 level related to the year 2013. The dataset, derived from the regionalization process of the Country-level data into regional ones and based on Eurostat regional statistics, is organised according to the two-digit based classification of industries (NACE Rev2) used in the national accounts. Inter-regional and international trade in goods is estimated separately using a novel approach based on regional flows of goods and services. Coverage: EU-28 Countries, 10 economic sectors and 267 NUTS-2 regions for 2013 following the NUTS 2010 classification (2014 data update: EU-28 countries, 12 economic sectors and 272 NUTS-2 regions following the new NUTS 2013 classification).
