Building on the work and expertise gathered within the EURPIDIS project, the Joint Research Centre continues to support the Directorate General CONNECT in the domain of digital innovation and start-ups. Within the Research on Innovation, Start-up Europe and Standardisation (RISES) project, JRC will provide evidence-based support to the policies of CONNECT in three areas:
- innovation with the focus on maximising the innovation output of EC funded research projects, notably building on the Innovation Radar under H2020; - start-ups and scale-ups – providing support to Start-up Europe; and - standardisation and IPR policy aims under the Digital Single Market priorities.
