Description

EUROCAT is a European network of population-based registries for the epidemiological surveillance of congenital anomalies. The JRC-EUROCAT Central Registry maintains the EUROCAT Central Database. The database is dynamic, and is updated bi-annually with data from over 40 registries. The JRC-EUROCAT Central Registry reports and disseminates on a dedicated website updated data on the surveillance of congenital anomalies. The following information is provided: prevalence for 104 congenital anomaly subgroups, prenatal detection rates for 18 selected subgroups of congenital anomalies, and perinatal mortality associated with congenital anomalies.
