Other resources

PDF

PDF – Portable Document Format – is a file format developed to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of application software, hardware and operating systems. Based on the PostScript language, each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a fixed-layout flat document, including the text, fonts, vector graphics, raster images and other information needed to display it. PDF was standardized as an open format and does not require any royalties for its implementation.

  • This PDF document contains a detailed list of the dataset metadata

HTML

HTML is the standard markup language used to create web pages and its elements form the building blocks of all websites.

  • This resource is a wiki container to explain the interpolation procedures to aggregate weather data from the european station network at grid level

Esri Shape

SHP – shapefile format – is a popular geospatial vector data format for geographic information system (GIS) software. Esri shapefile is a zip archive that contains at least the shp, shx and dbf files.

  • The compressed zip file contains the shape of the agro climatic grid of Europe projected as Lamber Azimuthal Equal Area EPSG 3035
