Title: Sodium chloride (NaCl, dissolved); production mix for PVC production, at plant (Location: RER)
Description
Raw data for polymerization and intermediate products are collected by several producers in Europe; the average is calculated by the consultant based on the production capacity of the companies. The LCI result is calculated with background data from the Boustead database. The eco-profile data are based on the production of a purified, saturated solution and the data refer to a solution containing 1 kg of sodium chloride.
Technical Purpose: Most industrial applications involving sodium chloride use it as an aqueous solution.
Geographical Representation: RER
