The heavy rainfall began early on Sunday, 13th September involving at the beginning the Liguria Region than
early in the Monday morning, the Emilia Romagna Region. The intense rains immediately caused severe
floods and landslides in the province of Piacenza. Quickly, the severe event involved the whole area due to the persistent and intense thunderstorms that is still involving the area until 4 days. Hundreds people have been evacuated in the whole areas, 1 casualty occurred and 2 people are disappeared.
