SOLICIT (semantic ontology-labelled indicator contextualisation taxonomy) is a framework for adding contextualisation information to data and indicators. It consists of an ontology that extends the common core ontologies (https://www.ontologyrepository.com/) and integrates the main concepts of the ISO/IEC 1119 metadata registry standard. It is intended as a common standard starting point for developing indicator description frameworks in specific domains.
