Activation reason:
An additional 6,000 hectares of pine forest are burning in the Landiras blaze since Tuesday afternoon forcing the evacuation of some 3800 people, in the same area already analysed in July for the Rapid Mapping activation EMSR592. The fire is extremely violent and has spread to the Landes department.
