Activation reason:
On 13 August 2022, a fire started in Añón del Moncayo, Zaragoza, Spain, affecting an area of high ecological value. The fire has already burnt 1500 hectares and several towns have been evacuated. At the time of activation, the forest fire is active and the weather conditions are extremely unfavourable with increasing drought. The land's orography indicate that it will be very difficult to extinguish the fire in the coming days. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide a first estimation, delineation with monitoring and grading products.
