High Content Imaging analysis of HepaRG cell line treated with aflatoxin B1, benzo[a]pyrene, cyclosporin A, rotenone and thrichostatin A over a range of chemical concentrations

Collection: EURL-ECVAM : European Union Reference Laboratory for Alternatives to Animal Testing

Description

The toxicological response of a metabolic competent cell line (HepaRG) is investigated combining a high throughput workflows with automated high content imaging approach.

Nine different read outs related to cell viability and mitochondrial damage are measured simultaneously after exposing the cells for 24 hours to increasing concentrations of five chemicals: with aflatoxin B1, benzo[a]pyrene, cyclosporin A, rotenone and thrichostatin A.
