Tropical Cyclone FREDDY formed south-west of the Indian Ocean - currently classified category 4 - is moving westwards towards
Madagascar with maximum sustained winds of 250 km/h, as of today 10:20 CET.
TC FREDDY continues moving westwards and is forecast to approach Mauritius Island and La Reunion on 20 February, before hitting the
coast of Madagascar on 21 February.
Heavy rainfall and strong winds are forecast in the next days over the islands.
